Although Las Vegas may not see snow this holiday, the stellar dining scene provides both guests and locals with several opportunities to get in the Christmas spirit while dining out. Typically a slow time for Sin City, with hotel prices less than half of what one might spend for New Years, options range from fish to steak and cocktails to milkshakes. Sure, many will find themselves visiting family in cities where virtually nothing is open the 24th, 25th or 26th but for those in town here are some of the holiday’s best choices. 

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer
December 1st through December 31st

Recently debuting a new menu that features several meatless options, Black Tap Las Vegas will be offering an all new seasonal CrazyShake throughout the month of December.  Served from 11:00am until close daily, The Holiday Shake is a cheesecake shake with a vanilla frosted rim plus white, gold, and silver sprinkles.  Topped with a white chocolate macadamia nut cheesecake slice, whipped cream and a cherry for just $17, how’s that for holiday indulgence?

Cabo Wabo Cantina
December 1st through January 31st 2020

Located inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Cabo Wabo Cantina invites guests to sip on holiday spirit with seasonal cocktails, available now through Friday, Jan. 31, 2020.  Awarded “Best Tequila Selection” in Best of Las Vegas, Sammy Hagar’s hard rockin’ dining and live music venue combines the laid-back beach-town vibe of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with the excitement of the Las Vegas Strip. Holiday cocktails include the sweet Warm Apple Cider, made with apple cider, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, Pusser's Rum and Fireball Whisky, priced at $12; and the creamy CW Egg Nog, made with a secret Cabo recipe that features brandy and Grand Marnier, priced at $14.

Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House
December 25th from 11:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.

A staple of the MGM Grand Las Vegas for over two decades, Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House delivers a twist on Louisiana’s classic Creole dishes. Built with roots in Chef Lagasse’s love of fresh seafood, Christmas will offer all the “kicked up” classics guests have come to love, plus a special menu featuring Mesquite smoked Creekstone Farm prime rib, grilled lobster salad, Creole seared Hawiian Ahi tuna and chocolate butter cake.  Offered at $80 per guest, or available a la carte, reservations are recommended but walk-ins are also welcome.

Locale Italian Kitchen
December 11th through December 23rd from 4:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., and December 24th from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Celebrating their first Christmas since opening near Mountain’s Edge, Locale Italian Kitchen will be offering a special Feast of the Seven Fishes menu starting Wednesday, December 11th through Christmas Eve.  A tradition from Italy, brought to Las Vegas by Chef Nicole Brisson, guests will receive a special menu with seven courses featuring variations on the traditional fish dishes for just $75. Adding select wines to match, look forward to plates such as salt cod fritters and tuna crudo plus baked oysters, seafood ravioli and Tuscan seafood stew.

Morels Steakhouse & Bistro
December 25th from 4:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

Located inside The Venetian, Morels Steakhouse & Bistro is an authentic French steakhouse well-known for its iced seafood bar plus a superb cheese and charcuterie menu.  Celebrated for both wet and dry-aged steaks, plus a patio overlooking The Strip, Morels Steakhouse & Bistro will offer a special Christmas menu, including a beet and goat cheese salad, slow roasted prime rib and holiday macarons served with their specialty “What Plane?” eggnog for $85 per guest.

Restaurant Guy Savoy
December 24th and 25th from 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

Located in the Augustus Tower, complete with a view of the Eiffel Tower, Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace will serve its Christmas Prestige menu for $385 per person on Christmas and Christmas Eve.  Best known for the world-famous soupe d'artichaut à la truffe noire, diners partaking in this special event will also enjoy crab salad with Osetra caviar, coco beans beneath foie gras, roasted turbot and A5 Kagoshima Japanese Wagyu beef from chef Nicolas Costagliola before finishing with desserts featuring the talents of pastry chef Sébastien Polycarpe.

STK Las Vegas
December 24th from 4:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. and December 25th from 12:00 p.m. until 10:00pm

Always a happening space inside The Cosmopolitan, STK Las Vegas seeks to entice regulars as well as their families to the ultramodern steakhouse this holiday season. Toqued by chef Stephen Hopcraft, STK will feature all its well-known and seasonal favorites on the 24th and 25th, plus roasted Linz prime rib with truffle Madeira sauce for $58 and a children’s menu including  4-ounce beef filet with mac and cheese and sautéed broccoli for just $24.
