Las Vegas’ showgirls are the epitome of Vegas glamour. If you’ve ever looked at them and wanted to know what it was like to don feathers and rhinestones and perform a choreographed number now is your chance with the new Showgirl Bootcamp. This experience gives guests a unique look at life as a Vegas showgirl through some of the city’s best dancers, directors and choreographers.
The showgirl bootcamp begins with a lesson in makeup. Learn how to apply glamorous eye lashes, contour the eye and tips for luscious lips. While you take it in listen to stories about life as a showgirl on stage.
Once you are all glammed up, you will have a lesson on how to carry yourself with the grace and elegance of a showgirl.
The experience ends with a photo session in non-other than an authentic feather and rhinestone Vegas headdress. Each participant will also take home a souvenir showgirl starter kit that includes a t-shirt, lashes, lipstick, accessories and official certificate of completion.
The workshop is directed and choreographed by award-winning director/choreographer Mistinguett. Mistinguett has been featured in SHOWGIRLS at the Rio, the HBO documentary special GLITZ & ANGST…The Making of Showgirls, and in the reality TV series NEARLY FAMOUS II. She has also produced and directed SHOWGIRL FOLLIES… Life in Feathers and Rhinestones as well as hundreds of shows in showrooms, cruise ships and venues around the world.
Your instructor for the experience is Stacy Blind. Former dancer in such shows as The Best of Burlesque, Bare Touch of Vegas, Breathless, Enter the Night and many more Vegas shows, Blind is also a producer, director and choreographer; NBA choreographer and Dance Director and more.
Showgirl Bootcamp takes place at Saxe Theater-Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
