Las Vegas has become more of an entertainment city over the last decade. Tourist are no longer traveling to Sin City to just gamble and booze it up on the Strip. They are now coming to be wowed through food, craft cocktails, spectacular sights and live entertainment. You can now see some of your favorite performers of all time in Las Vegas, during their residency at one of the designated venues. Within the last two years, the options have become almost overwhelming, with shows for every age group and genre to see. Here is a guide to which “must-see” artists’ residencies might match up with your tastes, as well as your travel dates. 

The Stars of the ‘90s & 2000s
All your teenage pop star dreams can come true in Las Vegas. If you grew up in the late ‘90s and early 2000s, you can now see all of the top artists of the day in Vegas, like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, Gwen Stefani and Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga: Feb. 2 & 3rd, May 30th – June 15th, Oct. 17th – Nov. 9th.
Christina Aguilera: Kicks off May 31st at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood.
Backstreet Boys: Feb. 6th – Aug. 26th at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood.
Gwen Stefani: Feb. 27 – March 9th at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood.

The Ladies of Vegas
What’s a Vegas show without glitz, glam and beautiful ladies? If you truly desire a classic, Las Vegas-style show of iconic women belting out ballads of the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s, then seeing either Celine Dion, Cher or Mariah Carey should be at the top of your list.

Celine Dion: Final shows Feb. 26 – June 2019 at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace.
Cher: March 13th – 30th at The Park.
Mariah Carey: Feb. 13 -21 at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace.

Rock n’ Roll
There ain’t no show like a good ‘ol rock n’ roll show performed be one of the best bands of the ‘80s and ‘90s. If you’re a true rock n’ roll junkie, Aerosmith is your “must-see” show while in Las Vegas. Aerosmith will be opening up their residency at The Park in April, and their engagement will run through mid-summer, with later dates coming. Catch Aerosmith April 6th – 26th, or June 19th – July 9th, at The Park.

Country
If pop and rock aren’t your type of entertainment, and you’d prefer old-school country music any day, dust those cowboy boots off and head to Sin City to see Reba with Brooks & Dunn. They perform at the beautiful Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace. Tickets are available for shows running June 26 – July 6th.
