Some big names in Hollywood, or their likeness anyway popped up in The Entertainment Capital of the World this week including award-winning actresses, old school and new school rappers, MLB stars and Las Vegas’ own Strip stars. Here’s who posed, partied and played in Las Vegas this week:

In town for the premiere of her new movie, “Parker,” at Planet Hollywood yesterday, Jennifer Lopez and her young beau Casper Smart enjoyed lunch at Social house in Crystal’s at MGM CityCenter.

Over at the Venetian, Academy Award-winning actress Sandra Bullock was spotted at Madame Tussauds, or at least her new make-you-do-a-double-take wax figure was anyway. The first wax figure to be created for the starlet was unveiled at Madame Tussauds yesterday by ‘Extra” host Adrianna Costa. You can find Sandra in a stunning red dress with black pumps and holding a gold clutch.

Rapper and TV star Vanilla Ice watched Cirque du Soleil’s newest Las Vegas show, Zarkana at Aria this week. The “Ice, Ice Baby” singer was in town as a guest of Lumber Liquidators President Robert Lynch at the National Home Builders Show on Wednesday at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Also spotted at Zarkana was “Dirty Jobs” host Mike Rowe with the engineers from Caterpillar. Mike led the crew on a backstage tour of the show to learn about its amazing technology.

Cal Ripken Jr. enjoyed a meal with friends at Joe’s Stone Crab in The Forum Shops of Caesars Palace on Tuesday.

Tao in the Venetian wrapped its four-day Sundance Film Festival parties with DJ Samantha Ronson, Karina Smirnoff, The EC Twins, DJ Cedric Gervais, Danny Masterson, Omarion Lloyd and original Lavo chef Ludo Lefebrve.

Over at 1OAK Nightclub in The Mirage, 2Chainz gave a special performance during 1OAK managing partner Eli Pacino’s birthday bash. The superstar performed his hits “I’m Different” and “Birthday Song.” Also at the star-studded birthday party was Lil Jon and actor Chris Tucker.

Singer, comedian, celebrity impressionist and Mirage headliner, Terry Fator was celebrating this week when he found out he has been certified by the Recording Industry Association of America as having gone quadruple platinum with his 2009 DVD. The DVD has sold more than 400,000 units since its release four years ago.

And speaking of the Venetian, Tropicana headliner and magician Murray Sawchuck and his wife, Chloe Crawford, a featured dancer in Fantasy at the Luxor visited Human Nature in their new home at the Venetian yesterday.

That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today. Have a great weekend and I’ll see you right back here on Monday for Las Vegas celebrity news.
