New Year’s resolutions are hard enough to keep but when you throw in a visit to Vegas, it can seem downright impossible. January is way too early to turn back on your resolutions, so we’ve come up with a few ways to stick to them while in Vegas:

Lose Weight
The #1 New Year’s Resolution year after year is to lose weight. So how do you keep to that in a city that constantly refills your drink and is home to award-winning chefs? Well first of all enjoy a drink or two, then ask for water. Remember, part of weight loss is hydration! You can also always ask for substitutes to some of your favorite food items, yet maybe not so healthy meals. Many of Vegas’ restaurants serve up dishes for whatever diet you may be following.

Exercise is perhaps the second most popular New Year’s resolution. While we don’t expect you to spend an hour a day in the gym while in Vegas, there are still ways to work up a sweat while enjoying the city. For example, walking between destinations is a great start. Almost every destination is within walking distance so lace up your shoes and get to it.

More Adventure
What better place to test out your New Year’s resolution to have more adventure more than in Las Vegas? Not only does the city offer its fair share of adventurous entertainment, but off-Strip you can take an adventure in the great outdoors with tours to the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Red Rock Canyon, Death Valley and more.

Get Over Your Fear of Heights
If 2019 is the year to get over your fear of heights, we have four words for you - High Roller Observation Wheel. The 500-foot-tall ride takes you high above the Strip in a beautiful glass-enclosed cabin. The High Roller is sure to cure you of any fears when you take in the gorgeous sights of the city below.

Laugh More
Who couldn’t stand to laugh more in this hectic day and age? We all could! And Vegas can help solve that resolution with its many resident comedians. You can always catch a laugh or two by upcoming comedians at the Laugh Factory. The Strip is always welcoming veteran comics too like Ron White, Terry Fator, George Lopez, Iliza Schlesinger and more.
