Vegas and pregnancy might not seem to go together but the Strip offers some perfect entertainment for the expecting momma. From a pregnancy massage to good eating and fabulous shows, here’s what to do in Vegas when you’re expecting:
Enjoy a Spa Day
Ask any pregnant mama what they need and they’ll likely tell you a spa day. Luckily Las Vegas is home to several world-renowned spas, many of which offer special pregnancy massages. The Mirage Spa and Bellagio Spa, both pamper moms-to-be with massages that are known to help alleviate headaches, fatigue, soreness and swelling.
Take a Dip
Vegas is known for its sexy pool parties, but when you’re pregnant you might not be feeling so wild. If not, you can still enjoy some fun in the sun but with a little more relaxation at such pools as Mandalay Bay Beach at Mandalay Bay, which offers palm trees, fountains and waterfalls and even a lazy river to float in. The Mirage Pool at the Mirage is a true oasis with cascading waterfalls and lush palm trees and greenery. There is also a fun poolside restaurant and Dolphin Bar good for a mocktail or two.
Take in a Show
Stay off your feet and sit back and enjoy one of Vegas incredible shows. From Cirque du Soleil productions like The Beatles Love, KÀ, and Michael Jackson ONE to magicians like David Copperfield, Criss Angel, and Penn & Teller, and even some risqué shows like Chippendales and Thunder From Down Under there is a show to fit whatever your pregnant heart desires.
Go Shopping
Whether you’re in need of some maternity clothes or you want to find something for your little bambino, Vegas is full of world-class shopping. Forum Shops at Caesars Palace is a great place to shop ‘til you drop. The Italian streets are filled with high-end designer boutique shops, as well as favorites like H&M and Victoria’s Secret. The Shoppes at Mandalay Place also offers plenty of options and it’s conveniently located right off the casino floor.
Eat
There are many fabulous places to enjoy a meal in Las Vegas for whatever pregnancy cravings you might be having. The Grand Canal Shops at the Venetian offers some delicious Italian fare. At Le Boulevard at Paris enjoy a crepe or French treat. Head to The LINQ for even more delicious options
