If Sin City makes you think of Devil’s Food Cake and other wickedly good desserts, this list is for you. Take a break from the casino floor and indulge your sweet tooth at one of the city’s many bakeries. From an ATM on the Strip that dispenses cupcakes around the clock to a locally famous bakery that’s been making waves on the Food Network, there are a number of places in Las Vegas to find baked goods. Whether you crave Instagram-worthy donuts, vegan cinnamon rolls or cakes made with a sprinkle of Las Vegas show business flair, here’s where to go.
If you’re wandering the Strip after midnight and you find yourself overcome with an insatiable desire for red velvet, look no further than Sprinkles. Their delightfully pink cupcake ATM is open at the LINQ Promenade 24-hours a day. You’ll find multiple varieties of cupcakes, including both seasonal selections and their ever-popular red velvet.
Freed’s Bakery has been a Las Vegas mainstay since 1959. If the name sounds familiar to you, perhaps it’s because you’ve seen them on the TV show Vegas Cakes on the Food Network. Experience the starpower in person at one of three locations (including a T-Mobile Arena location, which makes Vegas Golden Knights games even sweeter). Baked goods include cupcakes, cookies, macarons and, of course, cakes.
Saint Honore recently debuted in Las Vegas’ Spring Valley, with a menu centered around whimsical unicorn donuts. Head to their charming little shop and order one, or go for a rose and champagne variety, or a tiramisu variety. The French bakery also serves beignets and over-the-top milkshakes.
Gabi Coffee & Bakery
After you discover Gabi’s under-the-radar Chinatown location (hint: It’s behind a big wooden, unmarked door) you’ll want to spend the entire day there eating rainbow roulades, rose lychee cake and hazelnut eclairs. The Korean coffee shop and bakery looks like a fairytale, and the colorful, intricate baked goods are equally dreamy.
Nothing Bundt Cakes
If your favorite baked good is a bundt cake, Nothing Bundt Cakes is the Las Vegas bakery for you. The shop serves the namesake item in a variety of flavors, including chocolate chocolate chip, confetti, pecan praline and white chocolate raspberry.
Three words: custom cinnamon rolls. Need we say more? Cinnaholic offers the ultimate breakfast indulgence at four locations in Las Vegas. Start with a plant-based, dairy-free cinnamon roll and choose from over 20 frosting flavors, including coffee, maple, cake batter and classic cream cheese and then add toppings like walnuts, blueberries, cookie dough and coconut.
In true Las Vegas fashion, Showboy Bakeshop was started by Strip performers who brought their love of show business to the kitchen. Showboy Bakeshop offers cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, truffles and custom cakes. Order “The Headliner” for a classic buttercream cupcake topped with edible stars, or opt for something unique and try The West End, an Earl Grey tea cupcake topped with blueberry buttercream and edible glitter.
