After an eight year, live show hiatus, country superstar Shania Twain returned to the spotlight Saturday night with her new show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Still the One and the result was a jaw-dropping production that included dancing violinists and cellists, a flying motorcycle, a white horse, a black horse (if you can believe it), an a cappella backup trio, gorgeous costumes and some of Twain’s biggest hits, all belted out with her stunning voice!

The performance was exactly the type of show Las Vegas is known for times 100 and exactly the kind of comeback concert Shania needed to prove, she is in fact still is the one, for incredible country music and unbelievable stage theatrics.

The show opened with a video montage of Shania on horseback. It then changed into a motorcycle speeding through a video tunnel to reveal her flying in on the chopper above the stage. The imagery of Shania riding gracefully on horseback through a gorgeous setting and then flying like a bat out of hell on a souped–up motorcycle set the tone for the entire concert as the audience went from beautiful songs and horses on stage to loud costumes, dancers and unbelievable acts you’d expect to see in a Cirque du Soleil show.

She kicked off the concert with “I’m Gonna Getcha Good!” And that she certainly did as 14 musicians, four male dancers and three backup singers, including her talented sister Carrie Ann, flew onstage on top of three music pods. Shania then entered the stage wearing a sparkly, skin-tight catsuit with knee-high boots that shouted, “I’m back” in full force.

But even through her bold outfits and the incredible action on stage, Shania was emotional. She told the audience: “This is an overwhelming night for me. I’m so emotional, my eyelashes may fall off! It’s been a lot of years since I was out here. I realize what I have been missing, and I am very humbled to be invited here on the same stage as my icons Rod Stewart, Elton John and Celine Dion. I’m not alone up here because it’s a big effort by everybody. … It’s been a long time to get back up here, but there is now no way but up.”

Her set list included, “You Win My Love,” “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under,” ”Any Man of Mine,” “You’re Still the One,” “From This Moment On” and “Man I Feel Like A Woman.”
