Country music superstar, Shania Twain recently announced a new Las Vegas residency, after nearly five years away from the Strip.
Dubbed Shania Twain Let’s Go! The Vegas Residency, the new show opens Friday, December 6, 2019 at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The singer will perform 23 shows before concluding on June 6, 2020.
Shania revealed the news during a Good Morning America appearance last week. “We are having a party in Las Vegas,” the Man! I Feel Like a Woman singer told GMA host Robin Roberts. “It’s going to be a party like I’ve never had before.”
The star has promised fans many of her hits from her three-decade-long career as well as her most recent 2017 album Now and features from her global Now Tour. But it won’t be all about the music. Shania aims to put on an impressive stage production, too. She called Las Vegas a “production dream.”
“You can really take advantage of the highest-standard technology that is usually too sensitive to take on the road and travel,” said Twain in the interview.
This will be Shania’s second residency on the Las Vegas Strip, following Shania: Still the One, which ran two years at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace before ending in 2014.
One dollar from each ticket purchased for Let’s Go residency will benefit Shania Kids Can, which aids children in times of crisis and hardship.
