The Sixth Annual One Night for One Drop returns to Las Vegas Friday, March 2, 2018, at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Each year, the event aims to bring awareness to safe water access programs around the world. This year’s production is inspired by the life of Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jewel.

Zumanity performers Nicky and Laetitia Dewhurst will once again write and direct this year’s never-before-seen production. Proceeds from the event will benefit One Drop’s global water efforts as well as educational efforts in the Las Vegas community.

“I’m so excited to be collaborating with Nicky and Laetitia and the talented cast and crew of Cirque du Soleil to tell my story,” said Jewel in a statement. “I’m really looking forward to this and doing it for such an amazing cause that is very near and dear to my heart makes it even more meaningful.”

Presented by MGM Resorts International, One Night for One Drop 2018 is inspired by moments in Jewel’s life. Guests will be taken through significant events all wrapped in popular themes such as family, love, betrayal and forgiveness. Performers from Cirque du Soleil will light up the stage with acrobatics, feats of strength and more.

Nicky Dewhurst, co-writer and director for One Night for One Drop 2018, said in a statement, “We couldn’t be more thrilled to be doing One Night for One Drop again this year. To have the support and story of Jewel has been amazing and we can’t wait to share her beautiful story with an audience.”
