Sweet tooth? In Las Vegas, there are plenty of ways to satisfy it, and despite what you’ve heard, they don’t all involve alcohol. One way to appease your sugar craving is by visiting one of the city’s many candy shops. From local chocolatiers with gourmet flavors you won’t find anywhere else to Instagrammable boutiques with souvenir treats, these on and off-Strip candy shops will make you feel like a kid again.
Located in the Village Square shopping center in Las Vegas’ Peccole Ranch neighborhood on the west side of town, Rocket Fizz is a candy store for those who love unique and inventive treats. Candy selections range from chocolate bars to gummies, but the must-try item is the shop’s oddball selection of sodas, which includes flavors such as bacon, green apple jalapeno and s’mores.
The M&Ms store on the Las Vegas Strip is a four-story celebration of those chocolate morsels we all love so much. Create personalized M&Ms, browse every M&M color of the rainbow, take photos with characters and buy candy-themed apparel.
Hershey’s Chocolate World
Step into the New York New York Casino and you’ll be greeted by a massive Hershey’s sign for Hershey’s Chocolate World. This veritable mecca for chocolate lovers includes a big selection of Kisses, candy bars and Reese’s, plus a giant Statue of Liberty made of chocolate.
Ethel M Chocolate Factory
Part boutique chocolate store, part unforgettable experience, Ethel M Chocolate Factory is more than just a chocolate shop; it’s a destination. Located in Henderson, this chocolate factory allows you to take a factory tour, stroll through an on-site cactus garden and, of course, eat lots of chocolate. Try unique truffles like milk chocolate champagne, dark chocolate prickly pear and dark chocolate cinnamon. If you’d like to take some chocolates home, be sure to stop at one of Ethel M’s airport locations on your way out of Las Vegas.
Celebrities love Sugar Factory, which is home to both a restaurant and a candy store. The Fashion Show Mall location on the Las Vegas Strip is known primarily for its restaurant, which serves giant goblet cocktails topped with dry ice and candy along with rainbow burger sliders and oversized pancakes topped with brownie bites, chocolate chip cookies and other sugary treats. After chowing down, stop by the candy store and take home one of Sugar Factory’s signature lollipops.
IT’SUGAR has four Las Vegas locations, making it super easy for you to get your sugar fix, no matter where you are in the city. Shops can be found at the Venetian Grand Canal Shoppes, Town Square (just south of the Strip on Las Vegas Boulevard), Downtown Summerlin and the Grand Bazaar Shops outside of Bally’s. Here you’ll find a wide selection of candy offerings that will fulfill your cravings, whether you’re in the mood for something sweet, something sour, something chocolate or something totally off strange (candy sushi or candy bikinis, anyone?). Grab a bag and fill it with whatever makes you happy.
