Over the last few years, more and more people have developed allergies and sensitivities to food such as gluten. Eliminating it from a diet can be somewhat easy, but when it comes to travel and dining out, it can be difficult to find gluten-free options. In Sin City, being gluten-free doesn’t have to be boring, restrictive or compromising when it comes to taste. There are now restaurants that offer gluten-free pizza crust, pasta, bread and so much more. Here is a guide to some gluten-free-friendly places on the strip.

Buca di Beppo
Buca is known for Italian food served family-style, and offers a separate gluten-free menu, which makes it very easy and convenient when ordering. The menu offers a wide range of antipastas, salads, entrees and sides. Unfortunately they do not have a gluten-free pasta option. However, there are still plenty of gluten-free options on the menu to choose from, such as their traditional chicken saltimbocca, veal and chicken marsala, and baby portabella mushroom risotto. With all of these options, you won’t even miss the pasta. Located inside the Excalibur Hotel & Casino.

With world-class service and Cantonese cuisine, it’s no surprise that the restaurant inside Hakkasan offers some phenomenal gluten-free items. Available options include appetizers, sides, entrees and desserts. The menu changes seasonally, so be sure to ask about gluten-free options. They are very accommodating, and can make most of the seafood and curry dishes gluten-free. We highly recommend the scallop appetizer and the green curry with grilled prawns and veggies. And don’t forget dessert – try the vegan coconut and lychee sorbet. Located inside the MGM Grand, on the main floor of the casino.

Giordano’s Pizza
Giordano’s features Chicago-style pizza with a gluten free crust option. Unfortunately the famous deep dish crust is not available in a gluten-free option. Due to how the pizzas are prepared, the kitchen cannot guarantee a 100% gluten-free environment. It is not stated online that they have gluten-free pizza crust, but it is available at this location, and the crust is so good, you won’t believe that it’s gluten-free. Not only is the pizza unbelievably good, but the view is spectacular. Facing the strip, you’re sure to enjoy the sights of the city and a little people watching with your pizza. Located near the Bazaar Shops at Bally’s.

Lago offers Italian-style tapas and small plates, ranging from soups and salads to meats, seafood and vegetarian options. Their menu includes gluten-free penne pasta, options along with sides of grilled asparagus, fresh caprese salad and risotto ai funghi e parmigiano. Not only is the food excellent, but the dining room decor and panoramic window views of the Bellagio fountains are also nothing short of amazing. Be sure to request a table on the patio for an exceptional view of the water show.

Open 24 hours a day – and offering breakfast, lunch and dinner – Hexx is an exciting option for anyone visiting the Las Vegas strip. They also offer bottomless mimosas at brunch from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. All of the omelets on the menu can be made gluten-free, and the Chilaquiles are what breakfast dreams are made of; with chicken, roasted salsa tortilla chips, two eggs, avocado sour cream and asadero. If mimosas aren’t your thing, Hexx offers 4 different bloody Marys, such as the “Farmers Market,” made with bacon-infused gin, cheddar, bacon pepper-stuffed olive, celery salt rim. Located inside Paris Hotel & Casino, with a patio right on the strip that offers an excellent view of the Bellagio fountains.

Nacho Daddy
Mexican food is always a safe bet when it comes to being gluten-free, as long as the tortillas and chips are made from corn. Nacho daddy has an amazing selection of – of course – Nachos, tacos and fajitas. Start with a fun appetizer, the Triple Dip; guacamole, queso, salsa and chips. The Thai Chili Chicken Nachos are a must. Sweet and spicy, and the perfect mixture of Mexican and Thai fusion. And for the brave souls, don’t forget to do the Scorpion shot – a shot of tequila with served with a scorpion and lime. Located at Planet Hollywood in a great spot right off the strip, a quick walk from the Miracle Mile Shops.
