The pools may be closed and the weather may be cooling off just a bit but the Strip is just as busy as ever this October. From Halloween events to beer festivals, Fall concerts and comedians here’s what to do in October in Vegas:

Beer and Food Festivals
Las Vegas Food & Wine Festival - From October 5-6 the Tivoli Village will serve samples from some of the best restaurants and bars in Vegas. The foodie fare begins at 9 p.m. both nights.

Motel Brews Downtown Brew Festival - Join more than 60 local and regional breweries as they serve more than 200 beer samples at the Clark County Government Amphitheater on October 20.

Christina Aguilera – Christina Aguilera returns to the stage during her Liberation Tour at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on October 27.
Blink 182 – Blink 182 continues their Kings of the Weekend residency, with shows at Pearl Theater at Palms Casino Resort October 26-27.
Jimmy Buffett – “Waste away in Margaritaville” when Jimmy Buffett and The Coral Reefer Band comes to the MGM Grand Garden Arena on October 20.
Ozzy Osbourne – The Prince of Darkness teams up with Stone Sour for one-night-only at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on October 13.
System of a Down – The multi-platinum band, System of a Down brings their hits to the T-Mobile Arena on Friday, October 19.
Lionel Richie – The R&B singer and songwriter, Lionel Richie brings “All the Hits’ to Planet Hollywood on select dates Oct. 3-20.
Reba and Brooks and Dunn – Country superstars come together for a can’t miss show full if hits at the Caesars Palace Colosseum.

The Mirage continues to welcome the world’s best comedians including Ray Romano, David Spade, Daniel Tosh and others.

Halloween in Vegas is something everybody should experience once. The city will begin celebrating on October 26 with world-famous DJs, nightclub parties, costume contests and more. Here is a quick rundown on what to expect:

Shark Reef Aquarium - Mandalay Bay’s Shark Reef Aquarium invites guests to check out their Haunted Shark Reef from October 26th to 28th.

Freakling Bros. Trilogy of Terror - Are you brave enough to walk through Freakling Bros. three interactive haunted houses, including the R-rated Gates of Hell? If so you better check them out before they leave town on October 31.

Fear the Walking Dead Survival - The Walking Dead Fans can get their fill of the undead in this walkthrough horror attraction. The horror is located on Fremont Street.

HallOveen at Opportunity Village - Opportunity Village invites families to enjoy this “Magical Forest” with a mini coaster, mini golf and more.

Fright Fest at Fremont Street Experience - From October 5 - October 31, Fremont Street Experience turns into Fright Fest with live entertainment, specials, costumes and nightly shows.

The LINQ - The outdoor promenade and High Roller observation wheel will be decked out in a Halloween theme and taken over by zombies for a part of October.

Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball - For the “sexiest place on Earth” don’t miss the Fetish and Fantasy Ball at the Hard Rock Hotel. This Halloween extravaganza includes DJs and performers as well as the most wild outfits you may ever witness. The party takes place October 27.
