There is a lot happening in Las Vegas this February. From football games to lovers, Lunar New year celebrations and concerts, there is just about something for everyone this month. If you’re traveling to Sin City in February here is what to do:
The Los Angeles Rams will take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 53 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium this Sunday, February 2 and Las Vegas will be celebrating the game with tons of viewing and betting parties. Enjoy game day bites, guaranteed seating and open bar at Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip for the Big Game Party.
Believe it or not, you don’t have to look far to find romance in Las Vegas. The city is the marriage capital of the United States and its home to some pretty romantic (and even raunchy) shows like Boyz II Men, Le Reve - The Dream, Zumanity by Cirque du Soleil and more.
Chinese New Year
The Big Game and Valentine’s Day aren’t the only parties happening in Vegas this February. Every year, the city throws a party for the Lunar New Year. Guests can take in lion dances winding through casinos, gorgeous flower displays at the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and decor and symbols of luck at the Bellagio and Venetian properties. Here’s what to expect for this year’s Lunar New Year:
Traditional Fan Dance - On February 5 at 3:45 p.m. and 4:30 p., dancers will take over the Palazzo Atrium above the waterfall and perform renditions of the ancient traditional fan dance. During the performance more than 500 red envelopes will be passed to guests. Each one filled with prizes like gift cards, retail and dining incentives and more. There will also be a 16-foot-tall golden pig.
The Bellagio Conservator & Botanical Gardens - This is the Year of the Pig and you’ll see plenty of pigs in the Bellagio Conservatory’s newest display. In fact, a giant pig is the centerpiece of the 14,000 square foot garden. The display is also full of hidden gold coins, ding pots and lanterns.
Four-Day Chinese New Year Party at The LINQ Promenade - The LINQ will hold a four-day bender of parties beginning Wednesday, February 6 and running through Saturday, February 9. Guests can enjoy live music, prize drawings, food and drink specials and more. The Promenade will also be jazzed up with lanterns and decorations. Daily performances will likely include talented acrobats, props and some pigs.
