February may be the shortest month of the year (even with Leap Year) but it certainly doesn’t lack entertainment in Las Vegas. The city is all about the Lunar New Year, laughter and performances this month. Here’s what’s new in February in Las Vegas:

Lunar New Year:
The Lunar New Year festivities continue in Vegas this February. The LINQ Promenade will host a Lucky Lion Dance through February 8. Enjoy a cookie on the house at Honolulu Cookie Company when you mention “Happy New Year.”

Concerts:
Van Morrison - Legendary singer and composer, Van Morrison, will wrap up his latest residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with performances on Feb. 1, 5, 7, 8.

The Righteous Brothers - The Righteous Brothers bring their classic songs to the stage at Harrah’s Las Vegas this month. Fans can sing along to such hits as “Unchained Melody,” “Time of My Life,” and “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin” with a full band that includes Bill’s daughter, McKenna. The Righteous Brothers will perform Feb. 4 – 6, 11 – 13 and 25 – 27.

Dionne Warwick - Six-time Grammy Award-winning singer Dionne Warwick wraps up a series of shows in her limited-time Las Vegas engagement this month. The artist will perform her greatest hits such as “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again,” “Reach Out For Me,” and “Walk on By” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace most Thursdays – Sundays throughout February.

Gwen Stefani - Superstar performer Gwen Stefani returns to the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood this month. Catch hits from her No Doubt and solo careers including “Just A Girl” “Don’t Speak,” “Cool” and “Hollaback Girl” on Feb. 7, 12, 14, 15, 19, 21 and 22.

Christina Aguilera - Christina Aguilera returns to Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood this February with her Christina Aguilera: The Xperience. Aguilera will perform her hit songs such as “Genie in a Bottle,” “Beautiful,” “Dirty” “Lady Marmalade” and “Ain’t No Other Man” Feb. 26, 28 and 29.

Comedy:
Laugh all month long at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club. The club will welcome a slew of comedians including up-and-coming, local and others. Here is February’s lineup:

Meanwhile, Aces of Comedy at the Mirage is welcoming six big name comedians this month. Iliza Shlesinger will kick the laughs off Feb. 7 - 8. Jim Jeffries continues the funny on Feb. 14-15, Nikki Glasser performs just a day later on Feb. 16, Tim Allen brings his decades long stand-up career on Feb. 21-22 and David Spade and Ray Romano round out the month with one hilarious performance on Feb. 28.

Rob Lowe: Stories I Only Tell My Friends - Don’t miss Rob Lowe’s one-man show where he  shares funny and moving accounts of his storied career at the Criss Angel Theater at Planet Hollywood on Feb. 15.

Jeff Dunham: Seriously?!? - Comedian/ventriloquist Jeff Dunham and his dummies including Peanut, Walter, José Jalapeño, Bubba J. and Achmed the Dead Terrorist, return to Las Vegas on Feb. 16.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Live - You better work this February when RuPaul brings RuPaul’s Drag Race Live to the Flamingo Las Vegas. The show includes an all-star cast from RuPaul’s Drag Race’s best moments in this stage version of the Emmy-winning show. Among the “showgirls” you might see are: Aquaria, Asia O’Hara, Derrick Barry, Eureka O’Hara, Kameron Michaels, Kim Chi, Naomi Smalls, Shea Couleé, and Yvie Oddly. Drag Race Live! performs most Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in February.

Wayne Newton - Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton returns to his Cleopatra’s Barge residency at Caesars Palace for another run of Up Close and Personal. Sing along to Newton’s greatest hits Feb.  5, 10 – 12, 17 – 19 and 24 – 26.

Mariah Carey - R&B superstar Mariah Carey returns to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Hear The Grammy Award-winner will perform her biggest hits Feb. 14, 15, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28 and 29.
