Though Vegas spends much of January recovering from New Year’s Eve and prepping for spring, January still offers plenty of entertainment including trade shows, adult industry entertainment, comedians and concerts. Here’s what to do in January in Vegas:

AVN Video Entertainment Expo - The adult industry’s biggest night returns to Vegas this January during the Adult Entertainment Expo, Adult Novelty Expo and awards ceremony at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino January 23-26. The AVN Awards all take place on Saturday, Jan. 27.

Consumer Electronics Show (CES) - The Consumer Technology Association’s 2019 trade show will take over the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Wynn, and Encore, the Sands Expo Center at the Palazzo and Venetian and CityCenter Jan. 8 - 11. The Expo is expected to bring in close to 200,000 people.

Concerts
Billy Idol -
Bad boy of rock, Billy Idol will ring in the New Year with his first ever residency in Vegas. Idol will bring his greatest hits to Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort January 18, 19, 23, 25, & 26.

Styx - Legendary rock band Styx will take the stage at the Pearl Theater at the Palms on January 20. The evening will be split into two sets. The band will play their latest album, The Mission, followed by a full set of classic hits.

Lady Gaga - Six-time Grammy Award winner, Golden Globe Award-winner and Academy Award-nominee, Lady Gaga begins her Vegas residency at Park Theater inside Park MGM resort this January. The Vegas Residency will include two separate shows: Lady Gaga Enigma, a show full of her pop hits and Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano, where she will perform versions of her hits alongside music from the Great American Songbook.

ZZ Top - “That Little Ol’ Band from Texas” is coming to Las Vegas this January with their greatest hits of all time. ZZ Top will perform at The Venetian Jan. 18, 19, 23, 25, 26, and 30.

Van Morrison - Irish singer Van Morrison returns to Vegas with shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Santana - Global icon Carlos Santana brings his legendary guitar skills and award-winning music to the stage at House of Blues January 23, 25, 27, 30 and 31.

Comedians
Chris Tucker - January gets funnier when comedian Chris Tucker performs his routine at Wynn Las Vegas for two shows January 19 in the Encore Theater. Tucker is an acclaimed comedian and actor who has appeared in HBO’s De Comedy Jam, cult classic Friday, Rush Hour series and more.

Tiffany Haddish - Tiffany Haddish returns to Aces of Comedy at the Mirage January 25-26. This time the comedian is offering a VIP package that includes a reception, meet-and-greet and photo to benefit her charity dedicated to foster children.

Gabriel Iglesias - Known as the “fluffy” comic in the Hawaiian shirt, Gabriel Iglesias will get you laughing with his jokes on eating and his girthy middle. Catch him at the Mirage Jan. 18-19 & 20.
