A longtime writer of BestofVegas.com, Jena Pugh is on the pulse of what’s hot in Las Vegas. Previously working as a Script Writer, Copywriter, and Freelance writer, Jena comes to BestofVegas.com with a wide variety of writing experience. Deeply inspired by art, entertainment and film, Jena gains inspiration from the shows, plays, concerts, and movies she frequents, especially those in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas’ bevy of entertainment and show options are just one reason Jena is drawn to the Sin City. From the numerous Cirque du Soleil shows to the hilarious comedy acts, Jena can’t seem to get enough of the Strip! But perhaps her all-time favorite thing about Las Vegas is the show Mystere by Cirque du Soleil. With her love for dance and respect for athleticism, Jena could watch Mystere again and again. “I love how Mystere combines high-energy acrobatics with inspiring imagery and dance. Mystere is by far one of the most thrilling shows I have ever seen.”

When not writing about the best Vegas destinations, happenings, and celebrity sightings, Jena enjoys hanging out with her husband and three daughters and as well as teaching outdoor fitness bootcamp classes to other mamas.

For as long as Jena can remember, she has been writing. From writing short stories in elementary school to ad campaigns in college, Jena had always dreamed about one day becoming a famous writer. Jena took her passion for writing and went on to attain her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature with a minor in business and communications from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
